AoM vs AoE
From the creators of AoE and AoE the age of the kings comes AoM! Enter the age of powerful gods and heroic mortals, mythic beasts and immortal powers, a time when history and myth are one!

THE MAIN DIFFERANCES
Unlike AoE, you get choice of 1 of 9 gods under the catergories, GREEK, NORSE, and EGYPTIAN. Wid the gods, Zeus, Hades, and Poseidon. (For Greek.)
Loki, Thor, and Odin. (For Norse.) and last of all; Set, Isis, Ra. (For Egyptian, obviously!)
AoM also includes myth units such as the Minotors, Hydra, and Cyclopes, greek. Trolls, Moutain + Fire + Frost Giants, Norse. Sphinxes, Scarabs, Avengers, Egyptian.
However the newest and most game changing added feature are, god powers. God powers range from 'rain' (helps your farms) to 'meteor' (a meteor shower any where :D) The 4 most wanted ones in the early stages of the game are probually, 'spy' (select an enemy unit to see wot it sees,) 'vision' (select somewhere on the map to see in that area for a brief amont of time,) 'lure' (creates a stone where 3 / 4 / 5 wild animals wander,) and 'great hunt' (select a group of animals to double there amont.) In the later stages of the game; 'bronze' (your soldiers have extra armor, in range, for a short time,) 'frost' (frezes enemy units, in range, for a short time) 'flaming weapons' (all your soldiers have extra attack for a short time,) 'ancestors' (spawns a goup of 'dead ppl' for a short time.) are some of the best, however here are the ultimate ones. 'lightning' (creates a lightning storm for a short time.) 'earthquake' (creates an earthquake for a short time.) 'tornado' (creates a tornado for a short time.) 'meteor' (creates a meteor shower for a short time.) 'fimbulwinter' (gives 3 of your opponents a sharpe shock when a pack of wolfs suddenly attack them for a short time, or until all dead.) 'ragnarok' (turns all your gatherers turn into mighty heros.) 'nidhogg' (creates a dragon)

Age of Mythology: The Titans Expansion adds a fourth mythology, the Atlanteans, to the existing Greek, Egyptian and Norse mythologies. A new single-player campaign will add yet another chapter to the franchise's expansive folklore along with the addition of new scenarios. Atlantean players will be able to call upon the might of the Titan gods (such as Atlas and Cronus) multiple times throughout the game, and may also upgrade human units to heroes. The expansion pack will introduce 12 new god powers, 15 new human units and 10 formidable myth units to the game. Key Features:
Atlantean mythology. Gamers can take advantage of exclusive features that allow the Atlanteans to dominate their opponents. They can use their Titan god powers multiple times to demolish the opposition, promote selected units within the culture to hero status, and reap the benefits of a culture with new features, such as the ability to control time and space. They also can explore new maps and expand the "playground of the gods."
An extended story line. Age of Mythology: The Titans adds another important chapter to the franchise’s expansive folklore with new scenarios to explore and conquer. In-game cinematics help to integrate and further enrich the game’s story.
A new victory condition. Gamers can create a Titan unit that dwarfs everyone else and employ it to wreak havoc and rain destruction on enemy civilizations.
Additional powers, heroes and mythological units. Age of Mythology: The Titans brings the ancient world to life in more detail than ever before with exciting gameplay elements and characters. The expansion pack will unveil the incredible powers of the Titan gods, which can be unleashed by the Atlanteans who worship them. In addition, new myth units and human units allow gamers to build their civilization and go into battle in a nearly infinite number of ways.
Welome to my AoM tactics part, here im going to explain some commonly used tactics, for online gaming (not for deathmatch.) First with the civilazation 'NORSE'. When you start, select your villagers & Ox cart and tell them to collect the nearest food source, chickens ect. Then select your TC (town center) and (holdind shift) click the 'create gather button. Now select your ulfsark and tell him to create a 'temple', then (holding shift) tell him to create a house. Now (holding shift) click randomly on the mini map, this will make him scout. Now tell the villagers you've created to collect food, and continue creating more villagers until your first food source runs out. (You'll need more houses!) Now get all your villagers on food, exept 4 task these on wood and gold, try to make the villagers on food hunt, dont foget to tell the ox cart to follow them. Once you reach 400 food advance to the classical age(by clicking on the towncenter and on the circle with II on it).
Now get your ulfsark to return to the village, create a long house, or two depending on wood supplies, and from your temple, create some hersir. And from the longhouse(s) create throwing axe men. Continue creating millitary soliders, however create more villagers aswell. task them mainly on wood & gold. At the top of the screen make sure theres no 'idle gather' banner. once you have 8-12 villagers on all resources save up for the heroic age.
Once at the heroic age, create yet more military units. however you should also consider myth units aswell and a range of soliders, throwing axemen raiding calvery & hersir not forgetting frost giants, battle boars etc. try to make your army up to 'heavy throwing axemen' so they're stronger. Now attack. While attacking create another army so your attacks are persistant, dependig on how good your opponent is he may have an army, he may even have attacked you! REMEMBER -> -> when attacking take down their army (if there!) then their millitary accademy, archary range, long house etc. then the temple, then go for their TC! If you destroy it they will be on the verge of resigning, so try and create a TC where theirs was. So as there base can not re-build. REMEMBER -> -> You may be attacked in the classical age, so be prepared. Also dont attack in the classical age unless they're still in the classical age, or with a huge army, 30-40 soliders! Keep a constant watch on your ecomemy aswell, keep villagers tasked on wood, gold, and food. (3-5 more on food.) Try to build a few Hill forts protecting your base, and a couple outside theirs would be nice, (pen them in :)!)if they advance to the 'MYTHIC AGE' then i would advise you to do so then create an army. This tactic is a none rushing tactic, so be warned they may rush you, so BE PREPARED ! ! !
REMEMBER -> -> Have arond 40 soliders, 20 hersir, and 5 (heric age) myth units, to reach this goal its Essential to take un claimed settlements.
Being Greek and egyptian are the same tactices, for greek, get your horse to scout, all villagers on food, build a granuary, and build houses when needed, not forgetting build a temple while saving up for the clasical age. REMEMBER -> -> create a stable, military academy, and archary range. not just in the later stages of the game, but for the 'rush' tactic just the military academy. Being egyptian gods is the same apart from, get 4 villagers on gold not 4 on wood & gold, and get your priest to scout, and pharoh to empower the TC. REMEMBER -> -> create a lumber camp, gold mine, store house or granuary near the appropriate resource.
